Biographies

Daniel Martinez-Perez
Daniel played religiously as a young boy and “ate, slept and breathed golf”. He started out his in golf retail, where he was inspired by the a PGA Golf Professional colleague whom he watched coaching in store. Daniel took his PGA Professional training and completed a three year degree before qualifying then specialised as a coach, where he held professional positions including Carden Park & Nefyn Golf club. Daniel then moved to Fore Golf where he met Seàn. Together, they set up Platinum Golf Professionals (PGP) in 2013. PGP has recently rebranded to A Medida to reflect the tailor-made golf experiences that it offers in luxury Iberostar resorts worldwide. Daniel is currently Head Golf Coach at Macdonald Portal and is the secret to the smooth-running of the A Medida trips. He is a native Spanish speaker and will personally escort all golfers throughout, ensuring that they have maximum enjoyment from a seamless experience.

Seàn Bailey
Seàn was one of those annoying children who was good at all sports and was signed for Blackpool as a youth football player. He initially qualified as a football and basketball coach, before working at a golf shop where he was introduced to PGA training. Seàn travelled for work, coaching golf professionally in Italy and London before settling in the North West in golfing roles in Manchester and Chester, then at Fore Golf where he headed up a team of four golf coaches. Sean brought his knowledge from working in the south to set up a golf Academy at Fore Golf. He is currently Head Golf Professional at Wirral Golf Club. Seàn set up Platinum Golf Professionals with Daniel Martinez-Perez in 2013 to cater for a golfing market who wanted to improve their game while enjoying year-round sun. PGP has recently rebranded to A Medida. Seàn says he has “never had a bad day coaching”. He is solutions-oriented and loves to help other people find enjoyment and happiness in their game.
